Randhir Jaiswal, a ministry spokesperson, said that if Indian nationals are overstaying or lack proper documentation in any country, India will facilitate their return, provided the necessary verification of their nationality is completed.
A spokesperson for the US Embassy in New Delhi emphasized that the US is strictly enforcing its borders and immigration laws. They stated that these actions clearly indicate that illegal migration is not worth the risk.
